HostDock
Docker management

Your containers, one click from the terminal

HostDock manages Docker on remote servers through the server's own docker command over SSH. There is no Docker API to expose and no agent to install. List containers, follow their logs, restart them or open a shell inside one.

HostDock containers view listing Docker containers with image, status, ports, CPU and memory

What you can do

Container overview

Every container with its state, image, ports, CPU and memory, refreshed every 5 seconds. Images are listed too.

Live logs

Follow a container’s logs as they arrive, or download the full log to read it elsewhere.

Shell into a container

Open a terminal tab inside any running container. HostDock uses bash and falls back to sh.

Ask why it crashed

Send a container’s state, exit code, out-of-memory flag and recent logs to the AI assistant with one click.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to expose the Docker API to use HostDock?

No. HostDock runs the docker command on the server over SSH, the same way you would by hand. The Docker socket and API stay private to the server.

Can I get a shell inside a container?

Yes. Choose “Open terminal” on a running container and HostDock opens a new terminal tab with docker exec, using bash if the image has it and sh otherwise.
